Awesome initiative from Codecademy that encourages people to learn programming in 2012. Upon signing up (for free), users are emailed a free interactive lesson every week. I’ve tried a few lessons from Codecademy and they are really well done. Even the most inexperienced programmer will feel comfortable getting started.
